Among the most common questions from brides and grooms is "do you know a good.......?" Based on my personal experiences from my own wedding, as well as from reviews I hear from couples that have used them, the people listed below are excellent choices in their respective fields. When I recommend a vendor I look for someone who is of high quality, good value, and most importantly communicative. The number one complaint I hear from brides is that vendors won't return phone calls, all of these vendors are extremely reliable.
Videographer... Mike at Hi Def Video is the number one guy on the island hands down, he shoots forthe Westin and Ritz so you know he has to be good. He is unobtrusive when he films and he does an excellent job of getting the detail shots that you wouldn't normally think of getting. He is there early shooting guests arriving, the empty ceremony site, etc.
Dee Jay.....Eric Snow excellent sound equipment, HUGE collection of songs and if he doesn't have something you want played he will go get.
Steel Pan... Rough pricing subject to change $250 first hour $100 each additional hour. Having a steel pan playing as your guests are being seated, and as you walk down the aisle, just adds a nice touch of Caribbean flair. Please email me if you need contact info.
Florists....East End Flower Shop (340) 779-2619 They are absolutely fantastic, there is no reason to look anywhere else. I have never had a bride pick up their boquet from them and be anything but ecstatic. Give them some pictures from the internet of boquets you like, this will help them.
Cakes... VI Desserts is the best place to get to get custom designed cakes that are absolutely delicious. I have never seen anyone that is anything but absolutely thrilled with her cakes. Stacy will take your idea photos via email and replicate what you are looking for in a cake. If you are looking for just a simple white cake let me know as they are some other less expensive options for the basic stuff.
Hair & Makeup... Sugar & Spice Artistry Provides hair, makeup, and massage to your villa or hotel. They work for all of the major hotels and wedding planners on the island as they are by far the best on the island. So make sure you book them early as they are extremely popular.
Accessories... This website www.blissweddingsmarket.com has been very popular with many brides for the palm fans and various other beachy items. Click on the the Theme tab on the left side to see some of the items. If you have something in mind but you can't find it let me know.
